Earth & Sky

Earth and Sky Radio is a popular digital media company with over a million listeners worldwide for their media platforms. It needed an online space that allowed it to reach out to listeners and viewers, and create a community for sky watchers.

We built them a website that allows visitors to download podcasts and recordings from the latest radio episodes – the client has over 500 podcasts available for download. But that’s just the beginning. This website is a hub for science news and a network for bloggers, with over 3,000 articles published. Visitors can also find sky charts of the night’s astronomy, a kid’s section with homework help and activities, and more.

We didn’t just build this site; we also host it. The site is very active, with high traffic and plenty of downloads – but we’ve kept it running smoothly since its launch.

We’ve been honored to receive several awards for our work on this site, including a prestigious Webby Award in 2007. But with this design, it’s pretty clear the client’s the real winner.
